High school students and their families can explore careers in music on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Â鶹ֱ²¥ of Akron School of Music.
Free and informative, Music Careers Day enables participants to learn about professions in music, meet and rehearse with Â鶹ֱ²¥ School of Music faculty and students, and prepare for auditions. The program will also cover the application process, financial aid, scholarships, residence life and housing, and the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Honors College. Campus tours and lunch for students are included.
Music Careers Day begins at 9:30 a.m. at Guzzetta Hall, 157 University Ave., on the Â鶹ֱ²¥ campus. The program ends at 3:30 p.m.
