Very Bad Service in APM (Total views: 390 | Total Replies: 1)

APM Shakey’s gave us a very bad service. A friend has your Star Loyalty Card and she appreciated your food is good. So, 4 of us were visited APM Shakey’s Pizza on 17 July 09. One of us was applied your Star Loyalty Card when we were getting on our seat. Thus, we have 2 cards now. We have ordered 4 set-lunches. When we wanted to order our drinks, we supposed all drinks could be upgraded according to the Star Loyalty Card privileges mentioned. However, a Superior who has an unfriendly faces and told us “one drink can be upgraded in one table”. Then we asked we have 2 cards and request 2 drinks to be upgraded or if we can separate into two tables. The superior said “No, because you have sit already and you are wearing a same uniform.” Later, the superior came back and said he has upgraded two drinks by his authority. At the same time, I wanted to give some comments, the superior stop me by saying “Do you want me to change back your drink?” without waiting us to complete our speak. Okay, we kept silence and waiting our lunches. It is not because we afraid change back to normal drink; it is we were really very angry. May I give you some suggestion to amend the terms and condition for your Star Loyalty Card: 1. Do not mention “Member can upgrade from standard drinks to mocktail for free” since even have 2 cards, we cannot enjoy two upgrade drinks. How comes member can upgrade from standard “drinks” if have one card only? 2. You should add a statement “Same dressing must be served in one table” Besides, although we are only a tiny bit small business of you, we still a customer but not a beggar, please let your staffs fully understand. A superior has given such bad service to guests, I cannot imagine what direction/training he can provide to his subordinates. Miranda Fong

Dear Miranda, Thank you for your comment and please accept our apology on your experience at our APM restaurant. We value our Shakey's Star Loyalty Card member as an important assets of our group and we offer "free upgrade from standard drinks to mocktails for members". The free upgrade is based on member basis, therefore in your case 2 free upgrades is applicable as there are 2 Loyalty Card members. We will investigate the case with our Manager at APM shop and make sure that it will not happen again. At Shakey's, we strive to deliver high quality service & food to all our customers and we appreciate any feedback you provide to help us improve. We look forward to serving you again in the future.
